Dear Dolphin Families,

I am overwhelmed by your incredible generosity. I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.

At our awards ceremony, I knew if I spoke I’d be too overwhelmed with emotion. Between this being my children’s final season and the incredible generosity you showed me, I knew there was no way I could make it through a speech. Instead, I wanted to write and tell you just how much your kindness has meant to me.

I was truly overwhelmed by your incredibly generous gifts! Your generosity was far more than I ever expected, but what touched me most was knowing they came from a group of families who have shared this journey with us for so many years.

After 11 years with FOD it’s hard to put into words what this team has meant to me and my family. This season marked my children’s final year on the team, making it an especially emotional milestone. While I always knew this day would eventually come, I never imagined how difficult it would be to say goodbye.

Being part of this team has always been about so much more than swimming. It has been about friendships, laughter, encouragement, teamwork, perseverance, and watching young athletes discover what they’re capable of. I have had the privilege of watching not only my own children grow into confident, dedicated athletes, but also seeing so many of your children grow and flourish over the years. Watching them celebrate victories, overcome challenges, and support one another has been one of the greatest joys of my time with this team.

Thank you for trusting me, volunteering alongside me, cheering from the stands, and helping create a community where every child could feel supported and encouraged. This team has never just been about competition, it has always been about family, and I feel incredibly fortunate that my family has been a part of it.

Although this chapter is coming to a close for us, I know the team will continue to thrive because of the amazing coaches, volunteers, parents, and swimmers who make it so special. I will always be cheering you on and will forever be grateful for the friendships, memories, and experiences we have shared.
