The March Swim Clinic is a fun, four-week stroke clinic for swimmers ages 6 to 18. We will spend one week on each of the four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke, in preparation for the upcoming Swim Team season. This program will emphasize proper stroke development using drills, games, and other teaching techniques.

When: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays - March 2nd through March 26th

Session times are *5:30 to 6:15 pm for beginners, *6:15 to 7:15 pm for the intermediate group, and *7:15 to 8:30 pm for the advanced group. Groups will be assigned by the coach.

Swimmers will be placed in groups according to ability. The Beginner group is for those with limited swim team experience who are still learning their stroke fundamentals. The intermediate group is for younger, experienced swim teamers who have efficient flutter kicking, good side-breathing, and have been introduced to all four strokes. They are working to master stroke fundamentals (streamlining, kicking, head position, and breathing/breath control). The Advanced group swimmers have mastered their fundamentals, have good stroke mechanics, and are learning advanced drills/turns.

What: New Years Day tradition - Polar Bear Plunge.  ABC News10 Mark S. Allen will be there and streaming us live! Plunge into the brisk (freezing) if you are brave enough (it's ok if you just put in a toe) waters of Lake Natoma

When: 1/1/26 New Years Day Arrive anytime between 7:15-7:30. Plunge at 7:45! 

Where: Lake Natoma, Nimbus Flat Park (area near CSUS Aquatic Center - 1901 Hazel Avenue. Drive just past the aquatic center to the Nimbus Flat parking area.
